Kimberly Selden is an Executive Producer and Social Impact & Political Strategist. Her credits include Oprah Behind the Scenes, NBA All Star, MTV Video Music Awards, VH1 Hip Hop Honors and many more. In addition to her television work, Kimberly is the Founder of The Global Media Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reclaiming Black narratives and using storytelling as a catalyst for change.
Kimberly has traveled around the world to develop and create provocative, compelling content on a variety of topics ranging from politics and education, to music and culture. One of her most memorable experiences was traveling to the West African country of Niger on a volunteer mission to help start a local television and radio station. Her journey was profiled by The Huffington Post.
Kimberly returned to the states in 2016 and has since worked on national political campaigns and continues to support social justice organizations through cultural organizing and strategy. All of Kimberly’s projects and clients focus on meaningful, focused, transformational change that shift the narrative and move the needle in equity and inclusion.
Most recently Kimberly relocated from NYC to her hometown of Virginia Beach, VA, bringing her cumulative skills and resources to the community in support of the television and film industry movement in the Hampton Roads area.
